How long is a treatment session?
A treatment session lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Who will be treating me?
Dr. Kayla Cynamon PT MS DPT provides all treatments.
Do you have parking?
Yes. We have one parking spot located on Avenue S. If the person before you has already left, you can pull into the parking spot. In general there is ample parking located on the street.
How will my doctor know about my progress?
An evaluation report and a plan of care is sent to each referring physician.
Do I need a prescription for physical therapy?
Most insurance companies require a doctor’s note to begin physical therapy. If you are paying privately then NYS law allows 30 days of physical therapy treatments and if further treatments are necessary then a prescription from your doctor will be required.
Does my prescription for physical therapy expire?
The prescription can last up to 60 days if the doctor indicates 8 weeks on the prescription. Otherwise the
prescription expires based on what duration your doctor prescribes i.e. 4-6 weeks.
Will I be seen at the same time as other patients?
No. each patient has an individual 45 minute appointment time slot.
Do you have occupational and speech therapists?
No we do not.
What happens if I can’t keep my appointment?
Please give us 24 hours notice and we will reschedule your appointment.
